Wealthy individuals own summer homes along the beach, and seasonal shops, restaurants, and galleries emerge.

The town also boasts theaters where college students vie for roles, hoping to attract the attention of Broadway producers, Hollywood agents, or affluent patrons. However, beyond the college superstitions, both the town and the summer residents harbor their own secrets and mysteries.
